The only thing humbling about this is the word humbling. Having a child deny the fact that medicines and doctors aren't going to make them better is a troubling fact. Just be glad, young one, that you are lucky enough to receive medicines. There are plenty of children who are dying as I type this from ailments that they won't receive medicine for. You can bet your lucky American ass that they aren't waiting for God to step in and help them.
